Library

Our Library is the heart of our college. It’s totally New and fantastic building measuring 4720sq feet size. Reading room are separated from the main library Hall for boys and girls. Reading rooms for staff members is provided in the main library hall. The library is well ventilated and number of lightning points is provided for sufficient light in the library. The Library has been automated using elib library automation software & computerized with Barcode on books, Borrower’s Card of students and staff. Separate Reference Section has been provided for Staff and Students. Separate Staff Sitting Facility with Satyashodak Study Centre. The biometric machine used for monitoring the students and staff footfall login. The whole Library is under CCTV surveillance. The NAAC Peer Team Visited the Library Department on 5th August 2022, the team were very pleased with the work of staff, collection of books and facilities provided to the students.

The library is rich with all types of books required to get knowledge of the subject to be studied and the general knowledge. From its inception almost 44,076 books have been added and more than 14 periodicals have been subscribed and also e-books and e-journals subscribed through NLIST under INFLIBNET. The student’s provided with the information regarding job opportunities and higher education through the magazines related to the subjects. Students are issued books on their library borrower’s cards. They can get books to study in the reading room on their identity cards. The journals are kept in the library for general reading. The library is kept open from 7-00am to 5-30pm. On all working days and during 2nd term, the students are allowed to study in the college up to late in the evening.
