Placement cell of our college has been actively engaged in training the students for campus recruitment and making the job opportunities available to students.

The placement cell of the college performed following activities during the academic year 2016-17

• Head Start Pvt. Ltd.” Bangalore conducted Campus Drive on 20/04/2017. for B.Com. VIth sem. students and 14 students were selected.
• “Head Start Pvt. Ltd.” Bangalore conducted Campus Drive on 12/05/2017. for other college students. and 5 students were selected.
• “Advent Global Solution Ltd.” conducted Campus Interview on 15/03/2017.
• “Deshpande Foundation.” Hubli conducted seminar on Employability skills “Career Guidance Workshop” to B.Com. VIth sem. students on 03/04/2017.
• Global Business School conducted “My Company My Campus” training programme and conducted Employability skill assessment test for enhancing competitiveness on 23^rd March 2017 to B.Com., B.Sc. and B.A. VIth Sem students and 61 students were shortlisted.
• IBS/ICFAI Group, conducted seminar on “Skill Set for Placement” to B.Com. VIth sem students on 11/04/2017.
• Department of Commerce conducted Employability Skill Assessment Test for Enhancing Compertitiveness to B.Com. Vth Sem students on 25th July 2016.
• Yuvaraj Ramchandra Malatwadkar is selected in “Bank of India” for the post of clerk on 12/08/2016.
• Arvind Mahadev Sulebhavikar is selected for enrolment in Group ‘Y’ (Auto Tech) in the
  IAF on 28th Dec 2016.
• Kumar Varag is selected in BESCOM for the post of Junior Lineman.
• The placement cell has intended to organise the Training Programme in collaboration with BOSCH Pvt. Ltd.

During the Academic Year 2017-18 ‘Thirty’ reputed companies were visited and 2068 students were participated.

• TCS affirmative action (AA) programme endeavours to provide free employability training to SC/ST/OBC and GM unemployed Graduates final year students of Arts, Commerce & Science. 112 students have been participated. (on 6 TH Feb. 2018)
• Belgaum district employment exchange office & D.M.S. Mandal’s Bhaurao kakatkar College, Belgaum jointly organised Job Fair On 24 th Feb. 2018. 28 organisations were visited, 1986 candidates were participated (Male = 1451, Female = 535), 239 candidates have been placed.
• L&T finance conducted campus recruitment On 4 th March 2018 at D.M.S. Mandal’s Bhaurao kakatkar College, 3 candidates have been placed.
• Nouveau Medicament (P) Ltd. conducted Campus recruitment for science students on 24 th March 2018 at D.M.S. Mandal’s Bhaurao kakatkar College, 70 students were participated and 10 students have been placed. (22 students were shortlisted.)
• TATA Consultancy Services organised campus recruitment on 4 th Jan. 2018 at KLE’s RLS BCA College. 4 students have been placed.
• Concentrix conducted campus recruitment on 29 th Jan. 2018 at KLS Gogte College of Commerce. 1 student has placed.
• Concentrix conducted campus recruitment on 30 th Jan. 2018 at KLE’s RLS BCA College. 1 student has placed.

Totally 244 candidates have been placed during the year 2017-18.

• ITM Training Pvt. Ltd. Conducted campus recruitment for final year students of B.Com and B.A on 7th September, 2018. 68 students were participated and 7 students were selected.
• Organized Currier Guidance and Interaction Programme for the students of B.A, B.Com and B.Sc students with Mr. Karan Javali(a young Entrepreneur) Managing Director “MPTOCORP India”and Introduced “Moveonwheels”startup India Project.
• Vijay Karnataka Daily and Gillette India conducted interaction and competitive test based on the objective to make college youth interview ready under “YashassuNammaKayyallide” programme for the students of B.A, B.Com and B.Sc on 27th September, 2018. (162 students were participated)
• Community Finance Pvt. Ltd. (Janvikas ‘saath saath, Pragati ke saath’) conducted campus recruitment for final year students of B.A, B.Com, BBA and M.Com on 12th September, 2019. 1 student was placed.
• Belgaum District Employment Exchange office conducted Competitive Exam Training/ Coaching classes for Combined Graduate Level Examination-2018 from 02-07-2018 to 14-07-2018 at DMS Mandal’s B.K College, Belgaum. (4 resource persons and 96 students were participated)
• Organized Currier guidance Programme to the final year students of B.A, B.Com and B.Sc on 16th January, 2019. Resource person were Miss. Swati Jog Training and Placement officer, Bhartesh Global School, Belgaum.
• Belgaum District Employment Exchange and DMS Mandal’s BhauraoKakatkar College, Belgaum jointly organized “JOB FAIR” on 16th February, 2019. 35 Organisations were visited, 219 candidates have been placed and 93 have been shortlisted.

• Organised a special guest lecture on “Career Guidance and Placement Opportunities” on 13th December, 2023. Were resource person Mr. Harish C, Learn Online Plantform. Addressed the gathering. 140 students participated.
• Organised “Skill Development sand Career Orientation Programme” on 14th December, 2023. Were Mr. Mallikarjun Patil, Lead Institute of Deshpande Skilling, Dharwad addressed the gathering.
• Organised special guest lecture to Introduce National Skill Development Corporation approved Skill development Programme – UNNATI” on 5th January, 2024. Were resource person Miss. Mubeena form Unnati Skill Centre Addressed the Gathering.
• Organised a special lecture on “Banking Competitive Examinations” on 13th June, 2024. Were resource persons from ‘Nav Disha’ coaching center, Belgaum, addressed the gathering and shared the information about How to address the examinations of Banking, pattern of exams, Syllabus, Recruitment procedure, etc.
• Organised Career Guidence Programme “Career opportunities as Company Secretary” for the B.Com an M.Com students (In two sessions) on 15th June, 2024. were resource person CS Deepti Adake, Secretary, Belgaum Chapter of SIRC of ICSI addressed the gathering. 108 students participated.
• Rotary Club of Venugram, Belgaum and DMS Mandal’s Bhaurao Kakatkar College, Belgaum jointly organized “MEGA JOB FAIR” on 22th June, 2024. The event was inaugurated by Watering the plant by chief guest Dr. S. N. Patil Sir, The Principal, B.K. College, Belgaum, Rotarian. Sanjeev Deshpande, Rotary Club of Venugram, Belgaum Presides over the function. Rotarian. D. B. Patil, Rotary Club of Venugram, Belgaum Welcomes the Gathering. 26 Companies and 3,500+ students/Candidates participated in the drive and 1,200+ participants were given job offer Letters.
• Organised a special lecture on “Emerging Trends in Finance and Career as Chartered Accoutnant” on 29th June, 2024. Were CA Vinod Chandran, CEO, Mylogic Business Management School, Bangalore addressed the gathering.
• Organised “Career Guidance Programme” on 29th July, 2024. Were Dr. Suman kumar, Deputy Director, Global Business School addressed the gathering.
• Organised a special guest lecture on “Career in Life Insurance Corporation” on 6th August, 2024. Were Mr. Atul Deshmuksh, Life insurance development office, LIC addressed the B.Com final year students.
• Organised Skill Development Programme “SAP – an ERP Software Solution” to the Students of B.Com VI Semester on 13th August, 2024. Were Mrs. Sonia Jangra, DIYA Institute of Technologies, Belgaum addressed the Gathering.
