Honorable Dr. Vandana Gurav guiding students, teachers and parents on the occasion of Anand Shikshan Nidhi Distribution. On the dial Prof V L Patil,Secretary DMS Mandal Belgaum, Prin. Dr. S N Patil, Shri Subhash Oulkar former secretary DMS Mandal belgaum, Mrs Gouri Oulkar, Prof B I Vasulkar. Oulkar family members also attended the function. All needy benefitted students and their parents , members of teaching and non teaching staff and students were present for the ceremony.

Farewell function to final year students of BA/BCom/BSc was conducted on 31/08/2023. Prof. V. L. Patil secretary DMS Mandal Belgaum giving presidential remarks. On dias princ. Annual Prize distribution function
Annual Prize distribution function was held on 29/08/2023 in Gymkhana Hall. The Chief Guests were Principal Bennalkar Sir Maratha Mandal Degree College, Belgaum & Datanand Raikar Chairman ICSI Belgaum. At the ourset Prizes of all the events conducted throughout the year were given. The Presidential remarks were passed by Dr. S.N. Patil Principal B.K. College, Belgaum Miss. Shrinidhi Appugol proposed the vote of Thanks. The function lasted for 2 hrs.

Department of Zoology of B. K. College, Belgaum conducted study visit to Kolhapur University to study Sericulture and Animal house for 6th semester on 26th August, 2023. There were 23 students and 3 staff members.They saw butterfly park, Zoology museum, Sericulture department and Animal House as part of their syllabus . They were guided by Prof. Vikram Patil (HOD), Mrs.Mayura Nibandhe and Miss. Nivedita Thabbe.

Jyoti Career Academy along with Department of Commerce conducted 40 hours (15 days) crash course on preparing for PGCET exams. This course covered Aptitude, logical reasoning, Humanities, English grammar and General science. Faculties from different departments guided students in covering the syllabus of PGCET entrance exam.

RCU Intercollegiate Kabaddi Tournament organized by SVS Bellubbi College Saudatti on 12th August 2023. Our college team won the Second Runners Up Trophy & Best Raider Cup. Total 21 colleges had participated in the tournament.

Department of Biotechnology of our college conducted 4 days study tour to Bangalore and Mysore from 04th August to 07th March 2023, where students of B.Sc Final year visited Anthem Biosciences industry in Bangalore, IISc Bangalore, Mysore Zoo, Visvesvaraya Technological Museum Banglore, Lal bag botanical garden Bangalore, Bioedge Solutions Banglore and GKVK Banglore.They were guided by Prof. A.A.Sane and Prof. Madhuri Hindalgekar.

Dr. S. N Patil Principal, Welcomed the august gathering, Adv. On the eve of World Environment Day 2023, NSS volunteers of Bhaurao Kakatkar College in association with Green Saviours (an NGO), planted more than 70 saplings at two different locations i.e. Queens Garden & Mahantesh nagar in Belgaum.
Beat Plastic Pollution is the theme of this year’s World Environment Day.
