“ICSI-Career Awareness Program under MoU with ICSI Belgaum Chapter “
The Dept.of Commerce and ICSI Belgaum Chapter jointly organised the Career Awareness Program. CS Sudhir Sutar, Practicing Company Secretary Belgaum and ICSI Belgaum Chapter Counsellor spoke on Company Secretary as a Career Option to the B.Com VI Semester Students. Dr. M.S Patil, Head Dept.of Commerce welcomed the gathering. Dr. S.N.Patil, Principal guided and motivated the students. Miss. Rasika Pawashe proposed the vote of thanks. Shri. D.M.Wadekar, Assistant Professor Dept.of Commerce and Mr. Amit Subramanian, Director Jyoti Career Academy arranged the program. Four staff members and 95 students were attended the program.

“Study visit”
The Botany department organised one day study trip to Bhimagad Wildlife Sanctuary on 05.04.2025 . There were 30 students and 2 staff members .They were guided by prof R. B. Hujaratti and A. U. Nayak .

“ Study Visit“
Department of Zoology of B. K. College, Belgaum conducted study visit to Mollem National Park & Carambolim lake ,North Goa for 6th semester on 29th March, 2025. There were 14 students and 2 staff members. They did Nature trail and observed various species of Birds,Butterflies etc as part of their syllabus .They were guided by Prof. Mrs.Mayura Nibandhe and Miss. Nivedita Thabbe.

“ Visit to Subhash photo studio”
Students of Unity for Vision has visited subhash photo studio, Ramdev Galli, Belgaum. Students were welcome by Mrs Swati Oulkar owner of subhash photo studio. She gave detail information about how different size photos can be taken and she gave information about machinery in studio which is used for printing, developing photos and album in various sizes.

The P.G. Department of M.Com and M.Sc. Chemistry organized an inauguration and toppers felicitation function on 18th January 2025, honouring toppers from M.Com and M.Sc. programs, along with KSET achievers in Chemistry and Commerce.
Dr. Deepak Desai, Joint Secretary of DMS Mandal, Belgaum was the Chief Guest. The event presided over by Principal Dr. S. N. Patil. He appreciated the hard work of students achievers.

“RCU Intercollegiate Wrestling Competition 2024-25”
Details: RCU Intercollegiate Wrestling Competition 2024-25 held on 22 & 23 Nov 2024 in SPM College, Harugeri. Our College students participated & won 2 GOLD Medals.
Swati Patil (B.A I) won gold in 55kg category
Tukaram Dukare (B.Com I) won gold in Greco-Roman 65kg category.
Both are declared “University Blue” & will participate at National Level in Haryana.

“ Visit to Mahesh Foundation “
Objective: To study Socio-economic conditions of HIV/AIDS infected children and and to known youth social responsibility towards this cause.
A group of 105 students and professors from the NSS and YRC Unit of our college, visited Mahesh Foundation, Belagavi on 14.12.2024 gaining valuable insights into social responsibility and the challenges associated with HIV/AIDS. The session inspired the students to actively contribute to societal well-being.

Aditya Patil (B.Sc 1st Sem) is declared University Blue. He will represent Rani Channamma University at All India South Zone Inter-University Tournament which will be held in Calicut.

Department of Zoology of B. K. College, Belgaum conducted study visit to Bhutramanhatti Zoo, Belagavi for 1st semester on 2nd December, 2024. There were 22 students and 4 staff members.They learnt about morphology, zoo management and feeding habits of various animals as part of their syllabus . They also visited Ningenhatti where they studied about Water Management under guidance of Shri.Shivaji Kagnikar.They were guided by Prof. Mrs.Mayura Nibandhe and Miss. Nivedita Thabbe.
