“Awareness Drive On The Special Intensive Revision (SIR)”
Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) of D. M. S. Mandal’s B. K. College, Belgaum, organized an awareness drive on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls under the aegis of its Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) on 29-7-2026. The campaign aimed to educate students about voter registration, correction of entries, and the importance of maintaining an accurate, error-free electoral roll to strengthen democratic processes.

“National Service Scheme (NSS) Orientation Programme”
The NSS Unit of D. M. S. Mandal’s, B. K. College, Belgaum, organized the National Service Scheme (NSS) Orientation Programme for the academic year 2026–27 on 29-7-2026. The programme aimed to acquaint incoming students with the spirit, history, objectives, and community impact of the NSS, encouraging active participation in nation-building and community welfare.

“Kaushal Abhiyan Phase – II”
Placement cell, Bhaurao Kakatka College, Belgaum organised KAUSHAL ABHIYAN PHASE – II, Skillplus Program orientation on 28-07-2026. On this occasion Dr. M. V. Shinde, Principal, Bhaurao Kakatka College, Belgaum welcomed the gathering, Mr. Raghavendra Pawar, Regional Manager Deshpande Skilling, Hubli and Mr. Mahaling Mayannavar, Partnership Manager, Deshpande Skilling, Hubli, Introduced the program, shared valuable inputs and had interaction with gathering.

“Career Awareness Programme”
Career Awareness Programme on Company Secretary Couse was organised on 23 rd July 2026 at 9.30 am in Hall No 4 for BCom first semester students. Dattanand Raikar Company Secretary and Chairman of Belgaum Chapter of ICSI made the presentation on Career Guidance for CS course. About 120 students participated. Sushma Dodamani office bearer of ICSI distributed the guidance material to students.

“Orientaton Program ”
An orientation program was organised for B. A., B. Com., B.Sc., first year students on 18th July 2026. Principal Dr. M. V. Shinde welcomed the gathering. Dr. Amit Chingli, presented a PPT and informed students how the college is an exceptional institute for higher education. Smt. Neeta Patil, Head, Dept. of Hindi proposed vote of thanks. After the formal program cultural events and games were arranged for students.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, Youth Red Cross (YRC) Wing, and the Scouts and Guides Unit of the College jointly organized a mega Yoga Day celebration on 21st June 2026. The event aimed to promote healthy lifestyle choices, mindfulness, and community harmony among students
