SPORTS AND GYMKHANA
Right from inception of the college till date, the college has produced more than 300+ University Blues. Many laurels were won at National level & State level sports championships. It was under the guidance of the Principal, College Staff & Physical Director that has left no stone unturned to help out the talented girls & boys in providing all the facilities to students. The college has potential in sports like Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Track&Field, BodyBuilding, WeightLifting, Wrestling, Judo, Taekwondo, Cricket, and Football. In addition, the Gymkhana department caters to other outdoor sports like Cross-country, Volley-Ball, Cycling, Hockey, Basket Ball, Net-Ball, Hand Ball and Indoor Sports like Table-Tennis, Chess, Carom, Swimming, Badminton and Gymnastics. To bring out the best we have all sports facilities like grounds, indoor hall, gymkhana unit and sports scholarships. We also have gymnasium with dedicated personal trainer. The achievers have gained employment at National Institute of Sports as Coach, at Railways Dept, at Police Dept. and Physical Instructors in Schools/Colleges.

2016-17 Activity Report.
- Our college Women Kho Kho team, won the RCU Intercollegiate Kho Kho Championship Trophy, 4 players declared University Blue
- Women Kabaddi team, won the RCU Intercollegiate Women Kabaddi Championship Trophy
- Men Kabaddi team, won the RCU Intercollegiate Inter-Zonal Kabaddi Tournament
- Our College Women weightlifting team participated in Rani Channamma University Inter-Collegiate Weightlifting (M&W) Competition. Team won 3 Gold Medals & all 3 were declared University Blues.
- Our College students participated in Rani Channamma University Inter-Collegiate Best Physique (Men) competition
- They won one Gold Medal , three Silver Medals & one Bronze Medal. One student was declared “University Blue”.
- Gymkhana Dept. successfully conducted College Annual Athletic Sports Meet on 1st March 2017 and College Annual Indoor Games on 6th March 2017.
2017-18 Activity Report
- Women Kho-Kho team, won the RCU Intercollegiate Women Kho-Kho tournament, 4 players were declared University Blue.
- Women’s Weightlifting team won the women General Championship Trophy for the first time with 4 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal, 3 players declared University Blue.
- Our college athletes participated in RCU Intercollegiate Best Physique Competition & won two gold medals. 2 students were declared University Blue.
- Our Women’s Kabaddi Team participated in RCU Inter-Collegiate Women’s kabaddi selection trials & 4 players were declared University Blue.
- Three students participated in RCU Intercollegiate Men’s Taekwondo Tournament & won 1 Silver Medal
- Eight Athletes participated in various events at RCU Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet & women’s athletic team won three Silver Medals and three Bronze Medals
- Gymkhana Dept. successfully conducted Annual Athletic Meet and Annual Indoor Games on Feb 24th 2018 & March 7th 2018 respectively
2018-19 Activity Report
- Our College organised Rani Channamma University Inter-Collegiate Weightlifting (Men&Women) Competition 2018-19. Our College women weightlifting team won the overall RCU Weightlifting General Championship Trophy with 5 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medal & 1 Bronze Medal.
- Our College also organised Rani Channamma University Inter-Collegiate Best Physique (Men) competition 2018-19. Our college students participated in the Competition & won two Gold Medals & one Bronze Medal
- Our Athletes participated in various events at Rani Channamma Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet & won 1 gold medal with New Record in Shotput & University Blue.
- Women Kabaddi team, won the RCU Intercollegiate Women Kabaddi Championship Trophy. 3 players were declared University Blue.
- Women Kho-Kho team played well & won the Runners-Up Trophy at RCU Inter-Collegiate Women Kho-Kho Tournament. 2 players were declared University Blue
- Two Athletes participated & won two Gold Medals in Rani Channamma University Inter-collegiate JUDO Competition. Both were declared University Blue.
- Two students participated in Rani Channamma University Inter-collegiate Wrestling Competition (Men & Women) & won 1 Gold Medal & 1 Silver Medal in their respective weight category. One student was declared University Blue
- Two students participated in Rani Channamma University Inter-collegiate Taekwondo (Men) Tournament & won 1 Silver Medal & 1 Bronze Medal
- Our College women weightlifters participated in Dasara sports State Level CM Cup Weightlifting Competition held at Mysore & won 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal & 1 Bronze Medal
