ABOUT THE M.Sc DEPARTMENT

P G Department of Chemistry, established in 2011, has been dedicated for imparting quality education in the field of Chemistry. The 2-year Master of Chemistry Programme under the Semester-wise Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is designed to provide extensive specialized knowledge across different domains of Chemistry , while inculcating multiple appropriate skills and ethical values in students. More specifically, the Programme aims to develop the human potential to serve various fields of the teaching profession and contribute to research in the Chemistry, thereby addressing the needs of industry at both micro and macro levels. The Department further focuses on research orientation, professional competence, and holistic development, shaping students into capable academicians, researchers, and industry professionals.
